I understand. You're free not to share details, but I'm not likely to agree with an assertion like that without them.
The trouble is that's an argument that can be carried too far. Unless your judgment is infallible, you can't be perfect in judging what will put others in danger, or even that some unforeseen good won't come with the bad. There's a difference between acting to prevent a danger, and removing someone's ability to make the choice.
