A little bit of comprehension flickered across Annie's face. She recognized the name as one of the words he'd already said. He'd tried to introduce himself, and she hadn't understood it. She didn't always understand, but at least this time it was a translation error, not her mind, which was relatively clear at the moment - as clear as it ever was, at least.
"Oh," she said, looking at the package. She caught a whiff of it, and lifted it to her nose to inhale it more deeply. "They smell lovely. Thank you."
