I've never fainted, per se. I have passed out on occasion - such as last night, when exhaustion finally caught up with me. I slept all through the night and through most of this day as well.

We tell ourselves stories to feel less lonely in the vastness of the universe, I think. Stories are more comforting than the possibility that there is no heavenly justice, no eternal reward...that this is the only life we get, and that whatever we suffer has no purpose.
