Jean frowned a bit. "You think wrong. That's not why I came here." She hated it when people assumed her actions meant something else. Honestly, she was concerned about him. She didn't have any other motive. "I really wish you wouldn't have such a horrible attitude about it all. Sometimes you sound like you have this huge chip on your shoulder, like you're..." she waved her hand in the air as she tried to come up with the words she wanted to use. "You're trying to live up to something that's not possible to live up to--and that you're insanely bitter over it."
A quick pause. "Scott judges everyone. Everyone judges everyone. But challenging him to a fist fight isn't going to prove to him that you're not impulsive. Quite the contrary."
She moved to the door with him. There wasn't really anger in her voice, but she did sound slightly irritable. "I will. Think on it." She responded with a nod. "And if this fight was really between you and Scott for reasons other than me, then let's seperate me from it. Okay?"
