Kate opens her mouth to protest that he's the one who needs to get home first but closes it again and sighs. She thinks he is as stubborn as she is and realizes that arguing about it will only mean it will take longer before he can get home to rest. "Okay," she says and gets up to make the call.
Making her way back to the table, she wonders if he just wants to see her home safely or that he doesn't want her to know where he lives, perhaps both. She decides against asking, it's late and he's obviously tired. Another time, maybe.
