so i figured i'd strike while the iron was hot and app her right away.
hi everyone. this is isela mojica. she's 29, was born and raised in dallas. the middle of three, she spent the bulk of her life living around her extended family... even now, she's only an hour-ish away. she's new to town - maybe a month... not long enough to make any real connections. she works for a mental health collaborative that helps teenagers with eating disorders, anxiety/depression/ocd, etc. the phoenix collective is in blooming grove - about 10 miles outside of corsicana... and driving an hour plus in traffic every day just wasn't doing it for her anymore.
she's looking for everything. if anyone went to a&m - maybe there's a connection there? someone who sees her out with her dog, cowboy? the person who wonders why she eats at the bar every other day?

Hey, so this chick is applied and I figured I'd come here to make my plea for lines. Ana is native to Corsicana, your high school soccer co-captain for those who played sports, and the daughter of the (former) fire chief. Her mom worked grave yard shifts for twenty years at the local diner. Ana's older brother (by a year), Colton, died in a tragic car accident about 16 years ago because he was drunk driving and the aftermath of it really shook Ana's world. While she attended Baylor for college, she started spinning out of control and essentially had to be shipped off to live with family out of state in order to get her life back in order. As of May this year she's been back, working at The Moontower bartending with Presley. If you like a heavy pour, she's your gal. If you want to yap in someone's ear for sympathy while you drink, go to Presley (sorry girl), but expect this one to interject as she feels necessary with her two cents on the matter. Ana is a no fuss, no frills kinda person. She doesn't want to fluff you up, she doesn't want to have random "oh my god it's been forever!" chatter on the sidewalk while she's walking down the street, and she does need a lot of coffee before she can function like a normal adult. Some of you might find her hard to connect with and that's fine. What you can take away from this about her is that she's insanely hardworking and has a pretty strong sense of self.
Right now she's slumming it back home under her parents roof and slowly dying on the inside because she's way too old for that shit. If anyone needs a potential roommate, save her. Aside from that, I need basically everything.

I'm working on bringing in Emilia here. She's going to be BFFLz with Serina for life and also the elementary music teacher. She's fun-loving, too-trusting, and sings along with everything even if she doesn't know the words. She's the middle of three siblings, so if anyone wants to play a sibling, I'm not picky if it's brothers or sisters! She never had the classic middle-child syndrome, though, because she liked having an older sibling and being an older sibling. She also dated the same boy all through HS and they broke up the summer after senior year amicably. I'd love that line filled. Lines with other teachers, people she'd know through Serina, and anything anyone might think of. I'm totally open and as I work on her, she's a bit of a blank slate, so I thought I'd put this up while I work on her history!

This is Jordyn Jacobs or JJ. She's 40 years old and works as a social worker for the state. She's had a failed engagement, as she found her husband and his best man together in the throes of passion on their wedding day. She's originally from Round Rock, TX, and a UT graduate. She has an identical twin sister named Jasmyne. She was born on Feb. 14, 1980.
After her failed engagement she ran to Atlanta, GA for a couple of years and only returned to TX when she found out that her mother had cancer. After her mom was cleared, she moved to Corsicana, TX, and began to work her way up through the ranks to become the lead worker. She tends to get the harder cases out there.
She is a snarky woman who can have a temper if pushed the wrong way. She likes to get out and have fun, and just live life.

I'm hoping to come in with this Tessa Thompson pb. Her name is Samantha "Sam" Roman. I think I want to age her down to 32 but not committed to it yet. Ideally wanted her to be a native that moved to Houston for work. Maybe even still travels to and from. I haven't completely decided on a job but something either in finance or equally high-powered and male-dominated. Even though she's assertive in temperament, believe it or not, she was a High School cheerleader mostly because it was easier to hit on the competing teams' cheerleaders that way. What to really say about her? She's a 5'3" ball of fire who works for the Sheriff's department, and hopes one day that she would be the Navarro county sheriff! She's a spitfire of a woman and feisty in life. She does smile, but her smile never really fully reaches her eyes because she carries the weight of losing her husband all those years ago.
Basically she could use friends, and whatever you want to throw at her. You want to work out a family tie, I'm totally open to that. Maybe that's why she came to Navarro County?
Also random OOC thing, I was actually born in Corsicana so I'm so excited that there's a game based on it!

Hey newbies! This is Serina Conlan, she's the cute half of the Conlan duo. jcconlan would be the troll half - jk he's her favorite person alive. She's your local elementary school art teacher, native to Corsicana, and the local vegitarian (vegiserian for those who want a laugh). Her family owns the cattle and hay farm/meat supplier out in Kerens. Most of the summer she's holed up in her studio painting, slothing around as she likes to call it. Otherwise she's happily helping her brother plan events to get her friends all together. Seri is definitely a kind spirit that can have bouts of high caffeine induced energy, so she's a great partner to bring out if you're looking to have someone go with the flow and participate in just about any activity. Personality traits: playful, over thinker, creative, dramatic, lazy, flighty with romance, and care taking. She loves laughing and can find humor in a paper bag - and alternatively hates being bored by one dimensional people. Most of you will find her and JC playfully bickering, or her just nuzzling up to someone she likes.
I think she's the ideal friend to have on your team if you don't mind losing because she's primarily interested in a great fashion moment. If you like leading the way, Seri will follow, and if you like sitting around talking, she'll bring the wine.

Hello! This is Presley Matthews, cousin to JC and Seri. Anyone who is around her age range and has been here since high school knows that she used to be an absolute terror in high school. Mostly to people who 'deserved' it, assholes who picked on younger kids and things like that. She was incredibly angry, and liked to fight. These days she's just kind of a grump? She doesn't fight so much any more. She's now a bartender at Daniel's place and also a mechanic.
As I'm sure most people have seen, I'm looking for someone that got her pregnant when they were in high school. They mutually decided it was best to give the kid up for adoption. In my head they got pretty close while she was pregnant, even thinking about eloping but it never really happened. She's kind of had this thing for him ever since, even though they broke up. He's the one person she's nervous around. Everyone knows this who was around back then because she didn't hide being pregnant. It's not something she ever talks about. And I'm up for the kid asking to see their birth parents as plot. But basically I'm really really looking for this line to be filled.
Otherwise, she could use just about everything. I don't know how many 'friends' she has that aren't related to her and forced to hang out with her.

I see there are many new faces around, so I thought I'd put this here, because I rarely make it to pbads.
Autumn is 32, her birthday is next month. She's a second grade teacher, about to start school after Labor Day. She's a native, so if you've been around a while, they could be connected.
She worked at her friend Maya's flower shop all summer, so you could've seen her there. She's good friends with Caetlyn and Harper, so if you know them, you likely know her. She's dating JC, so there's a connection with him and Seri, too!
