Lily carried forward, limping but grateful for James' support. She shouldn't have been so bloody stubborn, but she was.. it ran in the family, after all. "Wait, chaser?" Lily inquired. She was certain James had been a seeker! "Well, chasing is my second favourite, so I guess that runs in the genes too, huh Granddad?" Lily elbowed James in the ribs playfully with a grin. This wasn't so bad! "Quaffles are fun, but I would imagine you'd want to be Seeker, after all.. they're the stars of the team." Lily puffed her chest proudly. She definitely was brilliant at Quidditch, and it made her quite the celebrity at Hogwarts. "It was hard not playing until my second year, to be honest. We grew up playing the sport."
Lily paused for a moment, mainly to catch her breath and rest her ankle for a moment. Though half-Healed, it was still throbbing. She wasn't sure how much about her father she should reveal. After all, she didn't want to steal Harry's thunder if he ever did come back. "Your son," she said softly looking between Lily and James. "My dad is brilliant. He's the best bloke anyone knows. He.. he was the one who killed Voldemort. He single-handedly killed the man who killed the two of you. At Hogwarts, he started an organization for students just like the Order. He was the best wizard at Defense Against the Dark Arts that anyone knew. In his third year, he knew how to do a full patronus. He saved Uncle Sirius' life." Lily shook her head. "He's the Head of Department for the Aurors now, and he's the best Dad I could ever ask for." She paused and blinked before looking back between the two of them. "I know you guys weren't around for him, but.. he's amazing. You two should be very proud. Your son is seriously the next Albus Dumbledore.. or that's at least what some people say."
Then Lily continued hobbling forward. She was quiet for a few moments after James asked about her mother. "Ginevra Molly Weasley," she finally said. "The youngest of Arthur and Molly Weasley's children, and the only girl. She's a year younger than my dad, and was a Gryffindor, too." Lily toyed with a lock of her hair. "She's a redhead too, Grandmum, but everyone says my hair is more like yours than my Mum's." Lily briefly glanced up at the other Lily's hair. "My Mum fancied my dad from the fist time she met him at the age of eleven." Lily continued for a few more moments silently. "They're hard to live up to.. my parents, and my grandparents too- you two and Arthur and Molly Weasley. The Potter name is known by all in the Wizarding World." It haunts me, Lily thought but didn't voice it. "Everyone knows you two, and my dad too.. and in turn, everyone seems to know our family. We're like celebrities or something. It's-" bloody annoying "-well, in Godric's Hollow, where we live now.. on the site of your house.. there's a statue of you two. And you two were buried there. Well, there are headstones for the two of you, at least. Dumbledore did it himself. We go and lay fresh flowers on your graves every Sunday afternoon.. at least my dad and I do. Even after all these years, I think.. well.. I know he really misses you guys."
