Rose sighed as she glanced at Rosie with worry. "There's nothing to be sorry for," Rose whispered hoarsely. Her throat felt dry and scratchy. She was surprised she managed such a long sentence. Rose once more tried to squeeze Rosie's hand without too much success.
Rose blinked slightly as the box was thrust into her. She let out a soft moan in effort to receive the box, but didn't say anything further. "I'm not dying, Lou," Rose replied just as soft as before. She glanced up at Louis sadly. "Just tired." Rose attempted a weak smile as her gaze returned downward towards the box of Legos. She grinned at it tiredly. "It has penguins," she whispered barely audible. Her eyes flashed up at her boyfriend once more. "See?" she asked Rosie, whose hand she still held.
