"I value honesty as well. Who would want a friend who lies?" Rose agreed. She smiled slightly at the mention of students who lied, most likely about their homework, "I think its a shame that some students think that the Professors will actually believe them when they say their owl tore their essay up, or that some spill ruined it. Honestly, we're not witches and wizards for nothing." She smiled at Remus, un-heard laughter evident in her eyes.
Rose was only slightly surprised when Remus asked about her Grandmum. Just mentioning her seemed to bring back something good for him, "She's brilliant. She's got all of us grandchildren to tend to, plus all our parents. You know being around people makes her happy...She always has good advice when we need it too. I miss her a lot," Rose admitted. She wished that she could go to her grandmum and tell her everything she was worrying about, because if Grandmum was good at anything, it was cheering you up, "You should know, Professor, that even if she's done a lot for you and you don't thank her for it, just you being around is enough of a 'thank you' for her. My cousins and I used to tease each other, saying the Grandmum was all knowing. She knows that you're grateful, even if you don't say it." Rose smiled softly. She'd been told the story of Remus's stubbornness and Tonks's determination her whole life. She knew what her Grandmum had done, but she also knew that without action on both of their parts, it never could have worked, "Darn. Thanks."
