Rose laughed lightly, "At least everyone knows I'm pretty honest. Sometimes though, even honesty can get you into quite a fix." Her statement was vague, she knew, and it would probably only serve to confuse her professor. Rose may have been honest, but she was also a pro at elusive statements which served her well when she didn't really want to tell her secrets, but she couldn't stop saying something. Her mouth had gotten her into a bit of trouble lately with her cousin reguarding her clandestine romance with a certain Malfoy heir.
Rose gave a small chuckle, picking at her blanket and giving a cough, "Before I came to the past, I would have argued that it was difficult to be optimistic at all," she admitted with a half-smile, "I think I understand stubborness about as well as you do, Professor. You don't know me and you never have, I realize that, but if you did, you would be well aware that I inherited a rather explosive combination of both of my parent's worst traits. That being said, Grandmum Weasley says I'm more stubborn than anyone she's ever known. The only people that I relent for are my family, and even that is difficult. I'm too hardheaded for my own good, which is probably why Lily barely wants to look at me right now," Rose shook her head sadly. Two very stubborn red-heads with opposing views on a subject was not pleasant, "I think I'm good, thanks," Rose declined, knowing that if she ate too much, she would probably just see it again anyway, "Pomfrey's still the same then, yeah?" She chuckled lightly at the thought, before giving a mighty sneeze. Madame Pomfrey always was a bit strict about things.
