"It's quite all right," Remus said with a warm smile. If he could live with teaching the likes of Draco Malfoy (who was now oddly enough his cousin-in-law), he could definitely teach a child like Rose. At least she was always truthful. And there was something to admire with that.
Remus nodded slowly but winced, a kink in his neck coming back to haunt him. He rubbed his neck for a moment and then said quietly as if he had never reacted to the pain, "It is rather difficult to be optimistic all of the time. Even my wife has proven that statement to be true. And perhaps it is even harder not to be stubborn. I understand stubborness more than most." Considering that one of the most common things said to him were "stop being so stubborn and love the girl!" he couldn't really speak of the horrors of dealing with a stubborn person...beyond himself. "Let me know if you would like more," Remus said patting his pocket. "I don't believe Madame Pomfrey would enjoy the fact that I am eating them myself. At least not until I am better." His hand fell down to his arm which was still aching.
