Remus raised his eyes as he heard someone else enter the infirmary. Rose Weasley. It had been an interesting adventure, teaching the students from the future. Especially those whose parents he knew so well from the old days. Remus had been happy to see that Hermione and Ron surpassed their flirtation that seemed to begin the year he taught them. Rose was a good student but he always felt too awkward to call her, or any of the other students who were children of his old friends, and mention the past. Or how proud of them he was. Old habits died hard, and the laws on werewolves being around children were still instated. But he could always offer Rose a warm smile. Even if it hurt to give her one.
"Hello Rose," He said quietly, his voice just a little hoarse. "Yes. I will be fine. Madame Pomfrey has seen me in much worse conditions." Only a few really. This had indeed been a bad month. "And you? You look awful pale. Even by your family's standard." Remus offered her another small smile.
