 Ministry Under Fire for New Policies
The Ministry of Magic has announced the pardon of Former Death Eaters (and other criminals) amongst a list of new policies involving the return of many formally dead individuals. Former Death eaters are expected to register with the ministry and come in for a monthly check in with the ministry to let them know what they have been doing. Former Death Eaters who violate these policies are fail to be cooperative will be taken back into custody. This policy is just one of many coming under fire of late from the public.
Department Head, Marietta Edgecombe, insists that the Ministry is taking precaution to protect the public and has a watchful eye on all known criminals. Many of those sentenced to Azkaban prison in the years past have seen the error of their ways and wish to help rebuild the society they tore apart. It is the Ministry of Magic’s role to make sure that all Witches and Wizards have an equal right to prosper and thrive.
Many individuals have taken issue with the policies and have started letter writing compaigns to change the Ministry stance.
