MODPOST: Robobabies
Okay guys, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! It’s time to find out who you’ll be co-parenting with this week! (And sorry about the delay, we had some unforeseen additional issues that needed attending prior to this post.)
The eager will probably skip this part and go right to the lists, but may come back up here should they find themselves with a case of headtilt.
How pairs were designated: • Characters who were roommates were not paired (with one exception) to maximize mingling. • Likewise, characters in relationships were similarly disentangled. • Most importantly, no two RPers were united in any pairing more than twice. • Unfortunately we had odd numbers in two schools, which necessitated some characters be assigned NPCs.
Tony and Warren are roommates. Yes, yes they are. However, because Tony was the creator and sole manufacturer of the robobabies, he was granted a special privilege: He could choose his own partner for the assignment. He chose Warren.
Pairings Middle School Hope Abbott and Jay Guthrie (Sara/Su) Berto daCosta and Lizzie Guthrie (JC/Bri) Adrian Corbo and NPC (Frank/NPC)

As a reminder: Your characters will be receiving an e-mail Monday morning informing them of their partner in this assignment. The e-mail will also tell them where to go to pick up their baby and that their partner must be present for both the pick up and drop off. (Your characters are going to have to sign off on each hand off for official documentation.)
Please Note • Regardless of their personal feelings (or lack thereof) for their project partner, the school will not be sanctioning any substitutions or rearrangements. • Gender assignments for the babies will be random. We will not be assigning the genders of your character’s babies; you and your partner may decide which gender your characters end up with. If you cannot agree, please see a Mod and we will randomly assign one. • According to the rules, babies cannot be left alone and must be with one parent at all times. The parents must each spend a minimum of four hours with the baby; and a minimum of two hours together every day. • All students are required to complete all educational, physical and social commitments during this week. Which means, your characters must go to class and do their homework, as well as attend club meetings, sports practices, training, and therapy as it applies. • The babies are logging a lot of things. So be sure to attend to them or your grade will suffer. • You will not have to post every day, but your characters will have to keep a daily blog/vlog covering their project. • At the end of the assignment, all students are required to take a survey, a small quiz, and rate the performance of their partner, themselves, and how well they managed to work as a team.
We expect there will be all kind of mayhem, but please remember the basic rules still apply. Curfews and punishments for fighting and all those lovely every days they live by. Please keep that in mind when planning.
Like your characters, you will all be responsible for contacting your own partners for plotting and scheduling. How your characters handle this assignment is entirely up to you. However, if Mod intervention is needed at any time, please contact us as soon as possible.
As always, we are available for questions, concerns and comments. If anyone is uncomfortable with any of your assigned pairings or they cause character development issues we may be unaware of, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may re-arrange the list in time for plot activation on Monday.
