Cadets! You will be rudely awakened at the lovely hour of 0430 hours Saturday morning. You will be instructed by your commanding officers to get dressed in full uniform, and you will then be told to high-tail it to the store rooms. You will be given fully stocked packs and a gun, and then the magic really starts.
Instead of your regular run, you'll be running for about ten miles. Once you reach your destination, you'll be setting up camp. You might have time for a quick breakfast, but then you're going to be heading straight to the first obstacle course.
This weekend will be full of all kinds of fun things, such as numerous obstacle courses (some allowing for use of powers, some not), weapons training, strategy exercises, hand to hand combat exercises (both with and without powers), sleeping out under the stars, and mud. Lots of mud. In total, you'll probably only be getting about six hours of sleep Saturday night, if you're lucky and everyone performs well throughout the day. The exercises will be overseen by a number of NPC SHIELD Agents, including both Kurt and Raven Darkhölme. Colonel Steve Rogers will also be stopping by to observe.
The weekend will conclude with a nice run back to campus Sunday afternoon, and everyone will be relieved of their packs and dismissed by around 6:30pm, just in time to crawl to the cafeteria for dinner.
College students! Feel free to have also been woken up by the shouting. There will be shouting. But lucky you, you can roll over and fall back asleep, and then enjoy the quiet for the rest of the weekend.
