A Class Interlude [Backdated to Thursday, the tenth]
Who: Bobby and Josh
When: Thursday, 3/10
Where: In class, before the teacher arrives
What: An attempt at cheer


Josh looked up from the bag that had landed on his desk, watching Bobby as he straddled the chair in front of him.

"They're real," the brunet said with a grin. He poked the bag. "Got a ride in. Have some, they'll make you feel better."

Blue eyes drifted down to the bag with the cheerful candy sticker. Josh sighed. "I don't really-"

"Don't start with me, Foley," Bobby replied. "Like anyone who knows you even a little can't see you need a pick me up."

Picking up the bag, Bobby untwisted the shiny tie and shook the open end at him. "You want to talk about it?"

Josh plucked a few gummy bears from the bag and popped them in his mouth.

"Well, when you decide you want to talk to someone who doesn't have a PhD in couches, you know where we live." He got up and cut Josh off with a hand gesture. "Keep them. Eat them. You need the sugar." He winked at him. "It's good for you."

The blond snorted softly, but ate a few more before closing the bag and sliding it off his desk. "Thanks, Bobby."

Bobby just smiled at him, leaned over and tapped his open notebook. "That's wrong. A game, Josh. If you're gonna play with the big boys, you bring your A game."

Josh wished he'd kept a gummy bear or two to throw at him as he turned on his heel and jumped a desk to launch himself at a seemingly unsuspecting Kitty.
