She could clearly see that he was feeling a bit wonky. If it had been about something less serious, she would have teased him about it too. As it was, she felt that it was probably best to mind what she actually said in regards to his strange behavior. She glanced briefly back at him as she pulled a clean knife out of the sink and started to make them some turkey sandwiches for dinner. She let him continue to speak, to try and explain exactly what was happening, because she, in truth, had absolutely no idea. Amarissa paused for a moment when he said that he kept remembering things. Was that what had happened in the other just a few moments ago? Had he been temporarily lost in some memory? It seemed a strange, and somewhat scary aftereffect. Memories were a powerful tool of the mind, that could be simultaneously wonderful and horrifying. She wasn't sure how James felt about having his mind bombarded with the past. Did he even have any control over what he was seeing? And when she did start to get concerned and drag his arse back to the Healers to fix it?
She didn't quite know how to deal with the implications of this. Rarely did they disucss anything relating to emotions. The two of them were happy enough to ignore anything that took too much of a serious turn. Unless it was absolutely unavoidable, it didn't come up between the two of them. The whole conversation made her want to turn around and borrow the cigarette that James was currently smoking in her kitchen. She just figured that he needed it a bit more than she did at the moment.
The next question made her pause entirely, one hand hovering over a piece of bread. She wasn't sure if she wanted to know exactly what had triggered such a question. It was probably nothing good. In all likelihood, James had probably had a memory containing some Death Eater then. She doubted very much it would have been pleasant. She also didn't know if she could tell him the entire truth about whatever she was asking. Well, she knew she could. She didn't know if she should. And that, she was aware, was probably not going to be an answer that James wanted to hear. Finally, she turned around and leaned up against the counter so that she could face him fully.
"Only if we've already caught them," she answered, and her voice was entirely serious this time. "Or any Death Eater that I'm in the process of catching. I'd have files on all of those." Another pause. "Who do you want to know about?"
