Setting her cup down on the table, Artemis sat forward as the house elf appeared at Bella's side. She knew that the house elves didn't bother them unless absolutely necessary. The little waif of a thing handed Bella a paper, which made Artemis curious. There were no unexpected guests when it came to being in this house.
As Bella announced there was a guest, Artemis couldn't help but be sort of surprised. Did Bellatrix Black get guests? Did more normal people know about her? Reading the subtle body language, Artemis too stood up and followed behind. Her own skirt ended slightly above her knees and was made from a deep blue crepe fabric that flowed easily with her steps. Eyes to the ground Artemis lost herself in thought, going over everything that had happened in the last few months in her head. She constantly tracked the progression of things, what clues and hints there might have been from different conversations- how she could've possibly missed such an epic happening as the Deatheater Bellatrix talking with her.
Her thoughts snapped back into reality as she heard Barty's name. Looking up she saw the curious young man she kept running into. Artemis stepped from behind Bellatrix. "...Good Evening?" She couldn't come up with what else to say. The subject of who he really was had been dropped once Bella came out about who she was, but the ideas now stirred in her head that this may be Barty Crouch Jr. Most stories about him painted him as incredibly intelligent but sort of deranged. I have a way of picking acquaintances...
