Fear melted away into astonishment. Artemis' mind studied the features that appeared before her. Artemis was frozen in spot. There was no fear as most people would've had, but pure shock mixed with a slight twist in her stomach of excitement. All her questions and thoughts left. Mouth open to say something, but nothing came out. A tug of a smile pulled at the corners of her mouth though. The eyes were the window to the soul and there was no doubt.
"Bellatrix..." She whispered, unable to say it any louder.
Younger than the pictures in her books showed, Artemis had more recently seen an old picture of the Blacks from when Bella was young. She had looked through her family history after a discussion of heritage with Kastra. All along she had been speaking to the very woman that made such a stir in the history of the world. Artemis couldn't think of anything to say. Of the discussion she had months back about what she'd say if she were ever to meet one of the Blacks, nothing came to mind.
