Tonks jumped slightly at the sudden angry voice behind her. Turning around she stood eye to eye with Remus. At first all she could do was blink, words escaped her mind. Instinctively her hair darkened and turned red; a foreshadow to the fight she was now anticipating.
"What did you expect me to do? Hey Remus, I know you don't remember me at all but I just found out we had a son. I don't think that would've gone over too well."
Turning her back to him, Tonks hoped off the small porch onto the grass. The porch felt too confiding to stand there while Remus was obviously upset with her. This wasn't at all what she expected in a reaction. Remus seemed like such a mellow guy- up until now.
She turned back toward him, noting in head her head that the distance was now a comfortable range. Not like he could hex her or anything, not when they were standing outside where Muggles could see.
