Blaise wasn't being purposeful in his words. He was simply guarding himself around Draco the way he did around females. Refusing to look as if anyone or anything mattered was a skill Blaise had mastered years ago, one that had been essential growing up with the lack of care his mother sometimes gave him. Of course this had been a source of frustration for many a female who wanted some sort of reaction from him. It had also been a life saver as it kept his weakness for Daphne at bay.
"And what page is it I'm supposed to turn to?" Blaise asked in hopes of getting to the purpose of their meeting as he was certain this was not a social call as Draco had mentioned his hopes for an end to the integration fiasco. "And how exactly do you propose to bring such a mighty ideal crashing down?" He couldn't quite see Draco getting his hands dirty in any manner that would bear great countenance.
