Draco readied himself for his meeting with his aunt remembering when Langdale Manor had belonged to Theodore's family. Now, though, it belonged to his aunt. He didn't like the woman, still didn't trust her, but he found himself in the unenviable position of needing her.
She had forged Ministry connections he couldn't. She had experience in networking he'd been denied. Most days, he didn't resent his father for it.
He stepped through the floo after taking a deep breath. He cleared his mind and called up all his calm and courage.
"Aunt Bellatrix?" he called, blocking from his mind his revulsion at the title. He had to appear honest and at least marginally happy to be there.
