"I am sure that you don't," Amarissa responded, her answer a bit dry.
She didn't press any further. Instead, she just concentrated on moving across the floor with him. At least she could plead off any seriously clumsy motion as a result of the alcohol. Perhaps drinking and dancing were in order from now. Maybe that was the only way to dance. And it was easy to led him lead, though she had to concentrate every now and then on the way that the liquid was sloshing around in the bottle. It was fairly low, but she still didn't fancy wasting any by getting it on the shirt that James was wearing.
Abruptly, they ended up in the bathroom. She pulled back from James a bit, raising a suspicious eyebrow in response to his comment.
"Yes, that would be a line. Are you honestly expecting me to agree to a bath?" she asked, fully pausing in the middle of the floor.
