"Thanks," Amarissa responded, accepting the cigarette. She tucked it in between two fingers and brought it to her lips. "You know," she said, already starting to ramble a bit as she opened the door. Her words were a little distorted as she was talking through the cigarette clenched in between her lips. "That's a very sexist assumption, Potter. I am entirely capable of lighting my own cigarette, you know. When I can find them."
She stepped inside, finally removing the cigarette from between her lips and exhaled a mouthful of smoke. However, she remained within the entrance, keeping the door open so that he could follow inside.
"Come inside for a drink then." she responded with a jerk of her head, gesturing that he should come in. Wasn't that his game plan all along? Why was he still standing outside in the stoop? "I should have something good tucked away in this place."
