Upon her invitation, he stepped from the floo and into the room, removing his scarf and jacket and laying them across a nearby chair. He reached out and politely shook her hand, smiling just a bit. "Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Cedric, thank you for having me for tea." He shifted a bit nervously. "My Dad said to tell you hello, and thank you for looking me over for him." he said, avoiding her gaze as he looked around the room. "You have a lovely home here." He inhaled deeply, smelling the heavenly scent of the cooking biscotti. "It smells fantastic! I think you and my Mum must have gone to the same cooking classes." he chuckled softly, finally meeting her gaze.
"Oh... what is it I need to be more careful about? I'm sorry, my Dad was so overjoyed to have me back that he's really not done anything but sputter and fuss over me. Didn't tell me much about what's been going on, aside from there was a war and that I was..." he had to clear his throat, because the next statement was nearly too much for him to mutter, it sounded so insane. "That I was killed by Voldemort. Can you tell me, what's happened to Harry Potter? I... I know he was in the tournament with me, and he was attacked, but my Dad didn't have much to say about all that "rubbish" as he calls it."
