No. Screw this. Listening to her chatter on as if she hadn't said anything out of place irked him. He'd wanted to just let it go, but he couldn't tolerate it, not when the girl in front of him clearly knew something. If James was going to be side-stepped, he could only deal with it if he wasn't aware it was happening. Remus would have told them if he'd had a son. If he knew. That was a big if. "Yeah," he nodded quite pleasantly, "loads of fun. You know, it's been great chatting with you."
He tossed his can in the rubbish bin, rising to his feet. He ran his hand through his dark hair as he took a few steps away from her.
"But I've got to find Remus and tell him he may or may not have a kid running around somewhere," he finished with a casual shrug. "If he has any questions, I'll just point him in your direction, then?"
