Glancing back at the dish, a reddish hodge-podge of well... actually, when he thought about it, it probably didn't quite look so appealing at a first glance.
"A bit of everything, almost," he chuckled with half a shrug. "Rice, clams, shrimp, lobster, chorizo... uh... and some other stuff. Beyond that, I've got no idea. Not that it matters. All that matters is that it is delicioso."
He leaned back a bit in his chair, taking a drink of his beer. The first time he'd been persuaded to try to the dish, he and Sirius had done little more than stumbled into the place. James was barefoot and Sirius' shirt was missing one of its sleeves. Rosa, gods bless her, had just stuck two plates of it in front of them. To be fair, James had been rather unwilling to give it a try, given the way his stomach was still lurching a bit, but whenever Sirius issues a dare it went against his very nature to shy from the challenge.
After another fork full he gave a thoroughly pleased sort of hum.
"I almost can't believe this place is still here," he admitted. "I thought it'd have been sold or torn down or something. A shining beacon of hope it is, knowing this place is still here."
