Daphne had to roll her eyes at the thought of Granger. Not only was Granger annoyingly opinionated, Daphne had marked her out as her rival in Arithmancy years and years ago-- so there was a personal side to the grudge.
"Yes, I have no doubt. After all, she was trying to convince people of the plight of house elves in our third year. At least, I recall overhearing something about it, I believe."
Daphne let the idea drop from her mind. After all, she had things that were more worrying to her. Such as her sister's possible connections to Blaise Zabini, her friend, but as it is often said, blood's loyalities grasp deeper than any others.
Daphne had no clue on why Draco thought he could convince Weasley to fend for him, but she also didn't buy Draco for a complete idiot. Since he didn't want to discuss it anymore, she wouldn't pry... for the time being.
"Yes, I am worried about Astoria and her connection to Blaise, in every sense of the word. He is my friend, and she is my sister," Daphne said followed by a sigh.
"Was there anything else you had on your mind, Draco?" she asked softly, trying to deflect from the quick confession she had let out only a second earlier.
