To hear Draco suggest that their particular circle of friends was in some way in danger from the current Ministry only strengthened her earlier fears for her sister and herself. It seemed to her that purebloods that had the natural disposition to favor their own kind would be the first targeted, and so therefore Draco's suggestion only made logical sense...
It was just she couldn't think of a single, solitary person that if the time came could vouch for her. Which also led to Draco's plan, which really didn't make much sense to Daphne. She looked across the table to him.

Find an integrationist to attach yourself to...
How on earth would she find an Integrationist that she could truly handle. Sure the Prophet made it seem like every sensible person was an Integrationist, but Daphne knew the truth to be much more complicated. Daphne herself was far from being an Integrationist. Though she thought it might be possible for Astoria to lean in that direction, which gave her a feeling of comfort.
She let out an audible sigh, and instead of eating anything took a sip of tea.
"I-- this is just incredibly ridiculous," Daphne adopted a slightly annoyed look. She had been doing fine before all this Integration mess came along, "Are they attempting to change the mindset of people by simply ridding the ones that don't fall in sync with their impossibly small waves of thought?"
