Re: First Dance: Bellatrix and Regulus
The recognition blossoming on Regulus' face, paired with the way he didn't falter a single step, inspired a look of approval in Bellatrix's eyes. In revealing herself to her cousin, the entirety of her success was celebrated anew. Besides, Bellatrix was never one to pass up celebrating her own accomplishments. She let herself relax a bit more into their steps, pleased to enjoy their reunion.
Her smile was fond and the roll of her eyes half-hearted.
"You and the rest of the world - honestly, in my absence the whole of the wizarding world seems to have lapsed into boring tedium. Though at least Elias is still a bit of fun," she mentioned conversationally. "We nearly blew up the study a couple of weeks ago."
Paranoid wasn't the word she felt was appropriate for her habits, as it seemed to imply a degree of irrationality. There was, however, nothing irrational about her desire to not hear the names 'Lucius,' 'Bellatrix,' or 'Regulus' spoken aloud in so public a setting. Discussing the personal destruction of her own property, however, merited little concern. It had never bothered her when it had been Rodolphus helping her destroy their parents' homes. Her lips quirked up at the memories of someone who managed to keep her so thoroughly entertained. And irritated. Not that she didn't being irritated couldn't prove highly amusing.
