"Spain," Amarissa answered briefly, not bothering to elaborate much further. She didn't want to lie, suspecting that might just arouse the other woman's suspicion. Besides the fact, she didn't particularly care that she wasn't entertaining or catching the other's eye. She didn't need to imprint herself on Kastra's memory. It was probably best the more boring she was to the other, actually. Amarissa was also making the assumption that this conversation wasn't going to last much longer, which reassured her slightly. It made her skin crawl in an unpleasant to be so close to someone she knew had killed a member of her family; it didn't help that she was supposed to be dead either.
"And you," Amarissa asked after a moment's pause, exhaling a mouthful of smoke to the side. She had caught the brush of an accent underneath Kastra's words, despite the fact that she had used the phrase 'us' when referring to England. "Where are you from?"
