"Please, call me Theodore," he said, shaking the other man's hand firmly, but briefly. It was true that, in looks and personality, Theodore resembled his mother a great deal. However, there were small similarities between himself and Victor Nott. His voice, for one, was just as deep and could sound a bit harsh and uninviting at times. Theodore did his best to seem friendly and, admittedly, that took a lot of focus for him. The quiet nature that Elias thought Theodore might possess showed itself in different ways, such as in his preference for being alone rather than with large groups of people. Eleanor Nott, Theodore felt, always seemed a bit out of place amongst the other Pureblood families and did her best to look comfortable in a setting that wasn't exactly comforting. In turn, so did Theodore.
Theodore took a moment to think about what Yaxley said concerning his time at Hogwarts and their fathers before responding. The man didn't look familiar to him, even though the name had slightly sounded like a name he should know. "Unfortunately, I cannot place you in my memory in the ways you mentioned, but your name sounded familiar when I was first made aware of who you were." He tried to sound equally as pleasant, even if he was already wanting the meeting to be over.
The one hope Theodore had for the meeting was that Elias Yaxley and his wife would want the manor immediately.
Theodore gestured toward the chair across from the one he stood before and sat down. As soon as he did, one of the house elves came up to his left side quickly to await his instructs. "Tea?" he asked, thinking it was best to get that part out of the way before talking business.
