Soroity Date: Tuesday, July 15 Time: Afternoon Location: Malfoy Manor Characters: Bellatrix Black and Narcissa Malfoy
Bellatrix ran her fingers over the soft gray fabric. Of course, she was likely to need a cloak, even if this one was a bit feminine for her style. And it wasn't as if Cissy would be happy about her going out to procure a summer cloak for herself. If it irritated Cissy that she'd taken one of her favourite cloaks, then so be it. The amethyst broach caught the light, splashing dots of light across the wall of her room.
Wall of her cell was more like it. The promise of freedom had made confinement only somewhat easier to bear. It gave her a focus, a goal to on which to concentrate. There were plans to make, things to sort, packing to be done. Really, she was grasping at anything to divert her. Not that Regulus wasn't sweet for occupying her attention the other day. She was certain he'd be fine, and tolerate seclusion at least until she could return and talk some sense into Narcissa. It took conscious thought to avoid rolling her eyes. She'd barely seen her sister since arriving, mostly out of a wound in her pride she was no willing to acknowledge.
Soon she'd be gone again, and naturally Cissy would remember how much she must have missed Bellatrix after she died. Bellatrix was certain. Time had a way of smoothing over old hurts. Though honestly, it was simply beyond her why Draco didn't take to sorting his mother out. He was the man of the house and Cissy was moping about like hermit, it was his responsibility to find something to amuse her. With a slightly taxed sigh, she shook her head as she picked up a book from her nightstand. It was a lovely sort of journal that you had to write in with dragon's blood. Only a drop of blood from the writer could reveal its contents once the book had been shut. Although she wasn't partial to leaving evidence sometimes one had to take notes, and she had a feeling this plan would require them. A small smirk teased at her lips, quite pleased to consider the prospect of the task ahead as she set the journal inside her bag.
