Luna raised her brows when he mentioned not needing to work, a bit of pleased relief showing on her face. That was remarkably convenient, and eliminated what stress she imagined unemployment might have otherwise incurred. But when he mentioned his father, she blinked in surprise. She was rather certain that there was no way to communicate with those who had truly moved on - although it wasn't unreasonable to think there might have been a talking portrait of Mr. Potter somewhere. "Your dad?" she asked, puzzled.
Harry scolded himself silently. He should have told her sooner.. "Um... " he bit his lip. "It's a very long story... and very strange." He would have qualified this conversation with the words "please don't have me committed", but with Luna he knew she'd take it at face value. "Well... some of the people that were dead... aren't so dead anymore." he said quietly, leaning closer to her. "My Dad... and Mum. Remus, Sirius and Tonks. They're all back and have been lurking quietly about, trying not to draw attention to themselves."
Well, if they were no longer dead, that certainly made communication much simpler. Tilting her head to the side, she considered. Vampires, ghosts, inferi, and seliotyrs had ambiguous passes with death, but that seemed different. Though if Harry had meant any of those things, she suspected he would have mentioned it. "How did they revive from death?" she asked, running her tongue along the inside of her cheek.
