Ginny generally would have accepted this offer. Luna was a far better cook than she, and all the exotic dishes that she seemed to prefer always offered something new to the woman who was used to traditional, slightly heavy British food. Unfortunately tonight Ginny wasn't really up for it.
"I'm sorry, Luna, I need to tend to my shin. It was battered pretty badly in practice today."
Which was the truth, of course, but there was more to that. The general exhaustion of practice was one aspect. For some reason the conversation with Malfoy was still rubbing her the wrong way. All she wanted to do was go to bed.
"But, I did want to ask you if you wanted to go see a Muggle film on Friday and then maybe go to the pub. It's Ron idea. He thought it would be good if we all went out a bit."
