Luna quickly popped up into a sitting position. "What? Harry?" she asked, blinking very rapidly. "I'm up- I'm awake." Not entirely, but at least the world had finally come into focus. Sleepily rubbing her eyes, she looked up when he touched her shoulder. Finally her eyes would stay open. She glanced from his concerned face, to the couch, then to the floor, and couldn't suppress an embarrassed grin. "No, no- it's fine, I'm fine," she insisted, trying to reign in her now unruly hair. "I didn't mean to- I mean, you were asleep and I didn't want to wake you. I'm sorry, I could have sworn I was going to sleep in..." She let the sentence trail off as she felt her cheeks flush. It hadn't been her intention to spend all night in his arms - not that she regretted it at all. "I'm fine, I was just startled."
He chuckled softly. "Don't worry, I was just as surprised, but... I have to tell you the truth, I haven't slept that well in forever." he confessed sheepishly, running his hand through his hair, trying to straighten it out. He lifted his other hand, brushing her cheek with the back of his hand. "I'm glad it happened." he smiled softly.
Her eyebrows raised just a little, a fuzzy memory of his less than easy sleep surfacing. However, she felt no need to address it. Plenty of people had nightmares, she knew she did. Although, his were probably more intense than hers, and figured if they needed discussing then he'd bring them up. So she smiled groggily, rocking her cheek against his hand. "Me too," she agreed, her eyes threatening to slide shut again. "Hmmm. I'm sorry, I'm not good with mornings - like the living dead until I get a bit of coffee."
He yawned broadly. "No, honestly I'm rubbish in the mornings too. I just needed to go to the loo. If you want, I don't mind curling back up. I don't have anywhere to be." he chuckled sleepily. "I feel like I haven't slept in years." he yawned again.
"Mmm that's perfect," she replied, her eyes still about half closed. She managed to land a quick kiss on his cheek before climbing back up onto the couch. "Straight down the hall, the door on the left," she informed him as she pulled the corner of the blanket over her shoulder. She had left a large space between herself and the back of the couch to allow him to settle in when he came back. "Come back soon," she mumbled against the pillow.
"Luna?" he mumbled, accidentally knocking his glasses from his face. "Maybe let's go to the bed, so we don't fall off again?" he asked, his sleepy mind seeing no harm in suggesting they lay on the bed and sleep, nothing more on his mind than the comfort of sleep. His neck was a bit sore from the position he'd apparently been in all night.
