Draco hadn't left the sanctuary of the wizard lounge, having had his fill of Muggles for the evening. However, he hadn't wanted to leave the party yet. When he saw Ginny enter, he smirked. Waiting had paid off. He had an opportunity to at least begin the process he promised was the purpose of the Season.
"Miss Weasley, I see you are out of your Quidditch robes." He raised his glass slightly in toast. "You look absolutely lovely." There was no malice or snideness in his voice.
It was truth. She did look stunning, and Draco wanted to frown and turn from this course. No blood traitor should look that good in green. Or that good at all, and she looked very good.
