Re: Sirius and Ginny 7.00pm
"Yes," Sirius said, glancing around his recently decorated kitchen "this place always did have a bit too much Slytherin." Brown eyes immediately make him think of Remus. He wouldn't look greatly different, and brown eyes wouldn't look strange with his black hair. "That's fine," he said, turning so she could perform the necessary charms.
He keep his eyes a little wider than usual, watching her perform the necessary wand work. Ginny really did remind him strongly of Lily, in a way that promised a good night ahead "How do I look?" he said with false degrees of concern.
Ginny raised her eyebrow a bit, a slight grin still hanging on her face, "Oh, come on, Sirius, you know you look brilliant. And do I look alright?" Ginny said this mocking his same false degree of concern. Ginny didn't think she was Fleur Delacour, but she was confident. "And what am I to call you tonight?"
"You look gorgeous," Sirius said with a grin. They both knew they looked good, but it never hurt just to have someone to say it. He was almost tempted to find James and have him give an apraisal, but he'd already seen the suit, and besides...he might come across Remus and have to face a replay of their former argument.
He turned to the fireplace and took a handfull of floo powder. A name? They hadn't thought of that. He looked up thoughtfully, searching his mind for something suitable. The wide Black family tree presented itself and Sirius mentally ran through the long list of names, "Lycoris" he decided. His aunt Lucretia's uncle, older brother of the first Regulus.
"Then let's do this, Lycoris, interesting choice," Ginny said, taking a bit of floo powder herself. She looped her arm through his, and they both stepped into the fireplace. She kept her wand tucked near, sure they'd need a quick cleaning charm upon arrival. Ginny called out in a clear voice, "Burlase Chateau, France."
The all too familiar feeling of going through a tunnel came over Ginny. It took longer than usual for obvious reasons. Finally once they had arrived, Ginny tapped both of their shoulders with her wand and stored it away quickly. Muggles were meant to be around.
"An ancestor," Sirius explained. He threw his floo powder down as she did, standing close against her as they travelled. When travelling internationally it was best not to leave coming out at the wrong fireplace to chance. They arrived at the fireplace and Sirius stepped out alongside her, smiling his thanks as she tapped his shoulder and cleared the soot away from them. "Let's find a drink and see what passes for art here," he said in quiet tones.
