Pansy smirked slightly as Blaise commented on her choice of company, and then was silent as she eyed the interchanges taken place. Astoria's brilliant dress was stunning, and Blaise's warm reception of her was something to note.
Pansy gave Daphne a brief look, her eyebrows raised in mock surprise, and then smoothed her features. She felt a bit of the odd person out. She still wanted her drink, but was reluctant to leave the safety of the group; she knew she would be waylaid by other Muggles. But the stiff formal chit chat was boring.
Lingering, she met Daphne's eye, "Well, there are a few football players here that I know. I could make introductions if you like, Daphne?"
Pansy's tease was obvious; she waited for Daphne's reaction before she was ready to pursue her hunt for a good drink.
