[Out of Order; After Arrivals; Part Trois]
Draco raised his glass and tilted his head to Blaise, smirking as he toasted his friend, then took a drink, attempting a careful sip, though given the cardabella, it wasn't as careful as he would have liked. "Cheers on the start, mate."
Daphne also raised her glass to Blaise, but quickly relowered to her lips, and then to her side. She felt a bit shaken, but stood in her place still. She looked at the others to see if they had any noticable changes. She didn't want to be the only one...
The intial dizziness dulled, things did seem a bit brighter. "Yes, I think I'm going to sit down." Daphne took her usual seat on the chaise. "Perhaps some others of us have plans, too?"
Pansy felt a wash of warm spread through her as the drug took affect. She lifted her glass, and the liquid felt like velvet fabric on her tongue, sliding into her. She lowered her glass, looking at it and set it down. Her fingertips brushed the surface as she set it on the table, and every touch sent a electric shiver through her frame.
Her tongue danced behind her lips as she tasted the liquid still and she raised her hand, to examine her fingers for evidence or some trace of the glass on them. When Daphne spoke, she turned towards her voice, the words flowing over Pansy's skin like a silk fabric, "That sounds like a good idea," she said as she lowered herself in a chair.Running her fingers across the wood, she was distracted for a moment, and looked up to listen to the others' replies.
Blaise gave Draco a knowing nod. He was certain his friend would appreciate what he'd brought to share.
"And what plans do you have Daphne?" he inquired as he watched the girl, his visage floating closer to her in his mind.Watching as Pansy seemed to pull into herself, Blaise couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Doing alright over there Parkinson?"
