Draco accepted the poured cup with a nod. It wasn't that he was intending on being rude, far from it, he simply understood she would pour their tea, despite being the guest.
He shook his head at her assertion regarding Daphne, "No, the changes go far deeper than her skin and nose, Daphne." Yes, Pansy was a victim, but he had no room in his life for those he saw as accepting the role of victim.
"She is a victim," he agreed. "And one the world has changed, I fear, irrevocably." It was clear through the crisp tones he was using that there was more, but he was at least attempting to not be petty. However, the slight up turn of his lip invited her to press. After all, it was only natural to eat the weak.
"How is your family? I know your sister graduated recently." It was small talk, though comfortable.
