Her smile turned just a bit proud as Ron filled her in. While he was unpacking she set the lilacs in the vase. Just as before, the cutting board and knives were laid out on her counter. Recalling the first time she had come home from school to discover her father had rearranged the entire kitchen - it had taken a few days to figure out where everything was. There was no need to send Ron on a scavenger hunt through her kitchen.
Picking up the book she leafed through it, leaning back against the counter. It looked familiar, but she was certain it wasn't in her own collection.
"I think my mother had the same book," she observed before handing it back to him. "Had you picked out anything you wanted to try?"
She was pleased that he'd taken it upon himself to start exploring for the next meal. Cooking always seemed more fun when Luna cooked something she really wanted to try.
