She couldn't help but chuckle to herself as she moved through, heading for an empty table It was the nostalgia of this place; her parents had only brought her here a few times. Although seedy, to Pansy, it was the scent of the Wizarding world. There was some trace of herbs used in potion, mixed with the odor of leather and the hint of owl that made her think of school, hexes and being home. She knew it was stupid. She should have picked a classier place to meet Daphne. But the only ones that she knew right off the top of her head were all Muggle places. Finding a glamorous place that was exclusively for the Wizarding world was hard; harder than Pansy would have imagined. She had found one in Paris, and in a great restaurant in Monti Carlo. She had been on the prowl for one in Rome, but then that football player had distracted her, so she had given up her search.
She sighed, and checked her bag. The magazine was there, made smaller by a reverse engorgio charm. She would get it out and let Daphne look at it if she seemed curious. She had a plan as to how much to say, and what to say. She was going to let Daphne lead the conversation. It would be depend on what she asked Pansy. Pansy didn't want to volunteer too much, but would answer most of her quesions, she had decided.
She sighed. This was the kind of bar one drank fire whiskey in, followed by beer chasers. She smiled to herself, remember the days of drinking and fun to be had in the Slytherin Common Rooms.
