It had been a warm day. Ginny loved flying on warm days. The wind that whipped around you, had the feeling of a breeze, except more intense, instead of the icy sting that it some days brought. Feeling particularly chipper, Ginny headed to the locker rooms. Sure there was a slight ache of muscles between her shoulder blades, and she didn’t really have anyone to help relieve that tension, but that mattered little. She still had endorphins running through her system. Not that she knew to call them endorphins…
She began changing, in the fashion that most of them learned being on a same sex team, training gear flying everywhere, no heed to who might see. All girls anyway, and despite any nasty rumours that might crop up from time to time, Ginny didn’t know of any lesbians on their team—well there was one player that Ginny thought just might be…
She tugged on her robe, and began to pack her things. She noticed her shirt had landed on someone else’s foot.
“Oh, I’m sorry about that, Artemis,” Ginny replied, picking up the article of clothing.
Although Artemis was Ginny’s year, and they’d been playing on the team together, Ginny hardly knew a thing about the girl. She wasn’t particularly talkative, and she liked to carry around a book—a typical Ravenclaw trait, or at least Ginny supposed. It actually reminded her of Hermione a bit, but less vocal about her opinions. Artemis was a good Seeker though…
