When the owl easily swooped through one of Luna's large open windows, she was pouring herself a cup of tea. The folded parchment landed neatly on the counter before her. Before picking it up, her fingers withdrew a an owl treat from the canister next to that which held her Sour Sweets, and tossed it to the owl. Opening the letter, she smiled as she read its contents.
Taking her tea over to her desk, she pulled out a sheet of parchment and dipped her ink in her new indigo ink. She was more than happy to continue helping Ronald. What felt like ages ago, Neville had helped her learn to dance over a holiday. It was only proper that she pass the favor along. For a moment she wondered if Ginny would be attending those dances, or Harry. As for her favorite flower, she loved gardenias and lilacs, but those were tricky. Every flower had a meaning, and these flowers communicated sentiments wholly inappropriate. Gardenias referenced secret love, and purple lilacs identified the first feelings of love. Best to ask for something else.
Ron,
I'm so pleased it went well, and have no fear, it'll be our little secret. Hermione always struck me as someone who needed a little mystery in her life, and every girl needs a dash of romance once in a while. I think that after another lesson a cookbook will prove no match for you.
I do dance, though it's been a while since I've had the pleasure. Mostly it just takes practice, but I'd be glad to help you learn the steps. And really, that's a treat for me as well. It's been such a while and dancing is so much fun.
As for flowers, they are completely unnecessary, but I suspect that's unlikely to deter you. My favorite flowers are gardenias and lilacs, but recently I've so desired a few Japanese Roses.
