Sirius opened his mouth to retort, then stopped as he heard something else too. "Wait-" he said, stepping back towards the doorway and sticking his head out to peer outside. There was a flicker of light, and Sirius caught movement. He turned back around, and in two long strides had a grip on James' shoulder. With a jolt they were leaving the shed.
"Bloody hell," Sirius said when he had his breath, "why are so many people living around a sodding hill?"
But now they were on the other side of the hill, and just ahead Sirius could see another house. It was tall, and quite oddly shaped. "It must be this one," Sirius said, completely convinced but with no real evidence that it might be.
"We should find out what Dumbledore did with your cloak, for next time," Sirius commented in a loud whisper as they walked.
