As Daphne sat down, Astoria closed the door. She turned around to address Daphne's question, not sitting down herself just in case this turned out to be an interrogation of some sort. Astoria wouldn't be at ease until the subject of mum and dad had been taken care of.
"I was planning on it," Astoria said. "But I'd much rather enjoy a visit from my dear sister." She grinned a little sardonically, if only to mock her rather polite phrasing.
Feeling comfortable with Daphne around, Astoria walked back into her bedroom to close the window. While she was doing so, she called out to Daphne, "So why are you really here?"
