Luna found something decidedly odd about the woman, which only served to perk her interest. She watched with relaxed eyes as Nyssa toyed with the puppy. It snagged in her mind, the familiarity of her features. Her name rang no bells, but with a slight shrug she resigned herself to the idea that if it were important, she'd eventually remember. While Luna always liked dogs, she seemed to find she was more of a cat person. Or a ferret person. Before Luna's thoughts could run away with her she focused on responding to Nyssa.
"Luna Lovegood," she replied, lightly shaking the other woman's hand. "I know what you mean - after a while it gets hard to pull everyone out of their homes and busy lives."
It was strange to miss the crowds and constant company school had afforded. She found Ron's serendipitous company rather enjoyable. Ginny of course was often available, but she had a new, growing appreciation for spending time with groups of people. And if one person in particular lingered overly much in her mind, she avoided examining such thoughts too closely.
"I had the strongest desire to go for a swim earlier, but it seems everyone else's work keeps them awfully busy," she explained. "What do you do?"
