Tonks looked up at the unfamiliar woman. She had a sort of hazy air about her. Noting the paper in her hand, Tonks quickly got a glimpse of the headline. She frowned for a moment then smiled at the woman.
"Well, a beach is something better spent with friends. And since mine seem to be locked away tonight, I'm alone."
Standing awkwardly on her legs, the pup barked happily at the newly transfigured toy. Having never understood the Muggle toy, it would have never been on her mind to use such a thing to play with the pup. Tonks vaguely remembered seeing Muggles at the park throwing it randomly into the air and having the dog bring it back to them. The dogs seemed to enjoy such a game but once something else distracted them the Muggles would complain about having to walk all of a few yards away.
"Well, obviously this one must, but I personally wouldn't know. I've never had a dog." Tonks smile and offer her hand to the girl.
"I'm...um... Nyssa."
It was unlike Tonks to use the same name with a different appearance but she wasn't feeling particularly creative tonight. It wasn't like this girl would know and it was just as likely that two people would have the same name. The pup looked at Tonks' hand as if the action was confusing.
