Who Sirius1-can and Regulus1-can Where Regulus' house What Awkward brother bonding time When Early afternoon Rating/Status PG/In progress
This was not something Sirius ever saw himself doing. Ever. After he'd gotten himself disowned, he and Regulus were not friends. They would never be friends. The only family members who'd given him the time of day were Andromeda and Alphard. Both of whom were also disowned. They'd basically started their own little "not Black" family. And yet somehow, he was standing outside Regulus' door, trying to decide whether or not to knock. He really should just walk away, but he kind of wanted someone to talk to. Someone not among his friends. It was an odd feeling and he didn't like it one bit. He needed to lie down and sleep this off, but he was here. Not doing that.
Mostly, he needed to forget about Peter. Forget about the fact that James still spoke to the rat bastard, let alone going on a walk alone with him. Forget about Remus and his accusations before finally coming around. He even kind of wanted to forget about Lia and how now she had her own Padfoot and that rendered him almost obsolete. Not entirely, because nobody could be him entirely, but she was used to Soriah, not Sirius. He didn't want to be the third wheel. Sirius Black had never been the third wheel. That was a ridiculous notion.
Regardless, he was upset and hurt and all around angry at Peter Pettigrew for existing within the same place as him and his friends, so here he was, raising his hand to knock at his estranged brother's door. If this was even his Regulus. Remus knew how to test for same worldness. Sirius did not. He could only guess and hope that this was his. Or maybe it wasn't and maybe that was better. Then it wouldn't be weird and he could pretend they were on great terms. Or something like that.
